• Chartered Accountant since 1999 (Chartered Professional Accountants of Ontario).

• Certified as an Investigative and Forensic Account (IFA) with the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants in 2003.

• Designated as Certified in Financial Forensics (CFF) with the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) in 2015.

EXPERIENCE

I have been practicing forensic accounting since 1999, working previously with BDO Canada LLP and Jarvie and Company. During my first six years I worked on secondments with the OPP and RCMP assisting with fraud investigations. Since then, I have been performing both business insurance income loss and fraud loss calculations.

​

Over my career, I have prepared hundreds of expert accounting reports in respect of fraud damages, business income losses, inventory loss valuations, and employee dishonesty claims.  I have provided expert evidence in the Ontario Superior Court of Justice and before arbitrators and mediators.
